Hire of Premises

The Destiny Centre has various rooms that are available to hire. Below you will find details and prices for the facilities we offer. Should you have any specific needs, please call our office and we can discuss your individual requirements.

Reception:

We can assist in the registration of delegates at your event, hand out badges etc. if required. Alternatively we can ensure that facilities are provided for you to register your own delegates, arrange tables/provide registration area.

Secretarial:

We can offer internet access, e-mail; photocopying services; telephone/fax facilities. If you require any other service, please ask, we will endeavour to help.

Parking:

We have on-site parking for up to 30 vehicles in our own private car park situated at the rear of the premises. There is additional off-street parking nearby in the surrounding area.

Catering:

We can offer a choice of menus.

Refreshments:

Unlimited tea/coffee and biscuits are provided for the duration of the hire (included in the hire price)
Provisional bookings are held for a maximum of 14 days.
Our aim is to provide you with a service of excellence. If there is any other way in which we can offer assistance, please ask.

  • Seating in the Conference rooms can be arranged to suit your needs.
  • Please contact the office to discuss your precise requirements.
  • Overhead projector, Clip Chart / Pens: White Board/Pens/TV/video/DVD: bottled water for speakers are included in the price.

Additional Costs:

Main Hall has PowerPoint facilities built in. If this is required, it is necessary for us to buy in the services of our technician, which are then charged to the client. Technical Services are charged at an hourly rate, currently £25.

Other Conditions of Hire:
  • Destiny Centre and its staff cannot accept responsibility for any valuables or property that may be lost or stolen during the event.
  • Destiny Centre reserve the right to refuse permission for own equipment to be used within the building.
  • The Destiny Centre cannot be held responsible for failing to provide all or part of the service, due to reasons beyond its control. These would include but not limited to: flood, storm, fire, equipment failure, and ‘Acts of God.’
  • Destiny Centre do not allow any religious ceremonies (other than for our own members) to take place within the building.
  • Destiny Centre require confirmation that the Hirer has Public Liability cover for a minimum indemnity limit of £1,000,000.00
  • No alcohol is allowed on the premises.
  • A strict ‘No Smoking’ policy is in force throughout the building.
  • Cancellation Charges: Full hire charge will be incurred for less than 24 hours notice of cancellation.
